Wednesday Night Paddling

We had 16 people out on the river tonight and it was a glorious sight to see so many boats.  We will continue to meet midweek until at least September 5, 2001.  Since we don’t have as much daylight as earlier in the summer, the first person here needs to start opening up the club house so we can get started sooner.  For safety purposes we need at least 2 boats on the water at a time.

Mary Keenan is coordinating this event.  We’ll add bottled water to the list of items we sell.

Hackensack River Festival, September 8, 2001

We need as many members as possible to sign up to help run this event which takes place at Laurel Hill Park in Secaucus.

Lake Sebago – Host/Sanitation Duties, September 8-9, 2001

Kim Sheridan volunteered to handle these duties for Saturday and Carole Baligh will be there Sunday.
