Expenses have been $180 for insurance; income has been $25 for dues and $268.25 from the Square Dance at Lake Sebago. There was some discussion about the finances for the River Festival. Warren made a motion, seconded by Joan that we have Bruce inquire of John as to the status of the expenses from the Festival. Motion passed. Atlantic Division News Jim McLoone gave us an update on Divisional news. The lease that we have with the Palisades Interstate Park commission for the Lake Sebago Camp facilities will be due for renewal soon. Annual elections for leadership of the Division are upcoming. Equipment After a short discussion we decided to leave our boat trailer at the Girl Scout Camp at Glen Spey, NY for the winter. Projects at the Club House 1. Cork board for wall – to display notices 2. Trophy case 3. Personal flotation device rack 4. Maintenance on boat racks 5. Club boat IDs – replace temporary tags with something more permanent 6. Boat repair – to be listed on cork board 7. Lighting – ballast needed for overhead fixture Cruising · October 20, 2001 meet at Club House at 8 am to car pool to river. Location: Delaware and Raritan Canal Leader: Bruce Herrick · November 17, 2001 – Participate in the 250th anniversary re-enactment of George Washington’s retreat from Fort Lee. Location: Heliport south of route 46 (we will paddle down from the Club House) Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 Nominating Committee The Commodore appointed the following committee to prepare a slate for next year’s club officers: Helen Yeisley, Carole Baligh, Bruce Herrick. Their report will be presented at the November meeting with the election taking place in December. If you are interested in a particular office, please don’t be shy.
